Brand: Cacao Palanda

Challenge:

Palanda is a canton of Ecuador. There you can find the oldest specie of cocoa in the world. Our first and main question was how could we repthe resent this particular cacao in a strong, simple way that could be replicated easily?

Play:

We explored the shape of the cacao fruit and found that its core could be the best way to represent Cacao Palanda due to its simple but strong shape. Since the products are handcrafted, we developed a seal with the brand isotype. This seal would be used to stamp the products to brand them in a delicious way.

Learnings:

Playing with the product gave interesting results. Most of the times, requirements like a chocolate stamp are not in the brief. Havingthe opportunity to make a proposal like that brought a lot of learning opportunities.
